BAD girls and boys will grab every opportunity they can to dance. All we ask is that we can advertise our pole school and if not already a charity event, the organisor(s) make a donation to one of our charities. BAD will provide pole(s) according to what the event venue can house. This will be the launch party for the new partnership between LGA and Shake up, with Shake Up bringing over some of Amsterdam’s best kept secret House, Electro & Techno Djs. International Women’s Day, established in 1918, celebrates the many amazing achievements by women, both past and present. To join the global celebration for IWD, education charity RISC and creative collective TAG will once again be hosting an extravagant cabaret of wonders, with female artists, musicians, and performers showcasing their talent, entertaining the crowd, and raising the profile of the amazing women of Reading and beyond! Come and enjoy this exciting event, relax in the audience, absorb the vibrant atmosphere, watch live performance, chat to new people, interact with art and installation, anddance until late to some of the world’s best female electronica. Pole Unity is a celibration of pole dancing and fitness. We hope to help change people opinions of pole and give every one the opertunity to perform in a non competative enviroment. The Art Collective II Sat 3rd July from 1.00pm at FaceBar Reading
This is the second year we will be running The Alt Collective event and following the success and positive feedback from the first event which took place last June we are extremely pleased to announce the running order for 2010 making it a more diverse and unique show that will definitely be a day to remember! The event will be held upstairs at The Face Bar – a large space that will be used to showcase new Alt Fashion designs and to see them bought to life by selected models and friends on a catwalk runway> You will be able to network and share a drink or two with fellow minded people, have your photos taken and have the exciting opportunity to purchase an array of clothing, shoes and accessories from a range of diy traders. All of this this will cost you just £10.00 entry for 9 hours of fun, socialising and networking. There will also be an aftershow party from 10pm downstairs in the Face Bar – ticket holders for The Alt Collective will be able to get into the party for FREE. It is also Nickie from Devolution Magazines birthday party! We will also be raising funds on the day for a Domestic Violence Charity of our choice who re-home, counsel and offer support and advice to women and children who have been victims of emotional or physical abuse.
