I thought it might be a nice touch to show how I have progressed from start to present day.  As you work through the photos you'l notice how my dance form just gets better and better!!

Lets begin with the podium dancing and a little dabble with a pole.  In this piccie I didnt know what to do, I just used the pole as a prop.  It wasn't till I met my 2 wonderful friends Sonia and Kat that changed my whole perception of pole dancing.

Garden is still a building site.

Sonia and Kat began to teach me spins and linking moves.  Now the only problem was, I needed a pole to practice on.  Brain wave, scaffold poles.  This pole is a free standing pole which has been specially polished, so it wouldnt scuff my delicate skin.  Other problem was where to erect it, okay the summer of 2006 was a scorcher so put it in the garden and the bonus was a fantastic sun tan.  Now that I have progressed to the level that I am I can see in this piccie very clearly what attention needs to be given to my posture and technique of this spin.

My neighbours love me and I love them back.

Another spin, this one has turned out to be one of my favourites.  When the spin technique and form is polished it can look so strong and graceful.

Oh and the figures in the back ground where my daughters, they didnt want to look. 2006

When your confidence builds things like this can happen.  Travelling home from a concert, Pink at Wembly Arena of all events, wow she was amazing.  The underground train, vertical hand rail, I could'nt resist it.

More photos are on their way and these are worth waiting for.  This piccie is what is known as a trick or pose and is one that is achieved from strength.

In the studio and the decorating is almost finished.

Having a little dabble with another trick/pose.  Again still lots to polish of but definantely coming along nicely.

Nearly there! Have never done the splits before I took up Pole Fitness.  Thanks to my fitness background I could put together a stretch programme, which I follow religously every evening, with great results.  Once I have achieved the splits I aim for the box splits, thats legs wide.

Well this is another move that I found extremely difficult, only because I could never do a handstand.  Well thanks to pole fitness and my friend Jojo take a look at me now!!

Freestyle Pole Jams

FreeStyle Pole Jams are held at SportsPark University of Reading each month.  We invite either a professional dancer or a Pole Dance/Fitness Instructor to join in with the pole jam and to give us his/her benefits of their experience.  The pole jams give dancers the opportunity to check their technique, learn new moves, ask other dancers to spot when learning tricks some distance from the floor, we meet new dancers and generally have fun.  For more details check out the 'Freestyle Pole Jam' page or contact myself either via email or telephone, details on 'contact' page.
