BADs philosophy of Pole Dancing:
The Dance Pole is an obstacle to liberate movement; the pole becomes the main focus in the art of dance. Pole Dance is an uninterrupted movement of 4 elements; fluidity, grace, co-ordination and creativity. Along the way, every student an individual, will find their unique form of physical expression and strengthen faith in oneself, be it through sensuality, athleticism, acrobatic, empowerment, fitness and performance presentation.

The BAD Studio, ventilated with tiled floor and one 7ft dance pole. Full length mirrors covering one wall, studio is equiped with a sound system which can be complimented with a synchronised light display. Tricks mat, floor mats and various other fitness equipment for cross training to improve your pole discipline. Studio open Monday - Sunday 10.00am till 9.00pm subject to availability.

Learning ABC’s of any subject requires a certain amount of hard work, but is necessary. Therefore, the safety of every performance is a priority, and this fundamental gave reason for the coming together of BADs. My aim is to teach how to use the pole, rather than instruct students what to do with the pole in the art of dance and fitness. The content of lessons, courses, Freestyle Jam Sessions and private One 2 One tuition, are exercise specific, posture, technique, spins, linking moves, poses, climbing, inverts, after-care, and advice.
Berkshire Alternative Dance Studio (BADs) was born from my personal dedication to finding alternative ways of encouraging physical activity.
